We are really excited to announce that
the date for our third Motorcycle Run
is Sunday 4th September 2011
Fee : £10 per person, hog roast included
We have decided to go back to a Sunday ride out as we feel that the Saturday didn’t work for many people due to work commitments etc. We were hoping for the even to be in June again but due to previous commitments this was not possible so we have decided on the first weekend in September and fingers crossed we will have lovely weather for it.
The venue will be The Roebuck Inn in Laughton as they have a perfect location for the event and have been very good to us in the past. The plan is to meet at 11am for a 12 noon ride out, the route will be pretty much the same as last year with a slight change which we hope you will all enjoy, bikers will be skimming past Eastbourne, down the breathtaking coast road to Newhaven pass Lewes and Brighton on the A27, we will then be taking the Devils dyke road down to Newtimber, we are hoping to have a stop off on the B2118 in Albourne which is the old A23 then we can re group to go through Hurstpierpoint en mass as this is the home town of Cancervive, then take the B2116 through Ditchling – through Lewes and back to Laughton.
Once back at the Roebuck Inn we will be having a hog roast with music from Keep the Faith (who were brilliant last year).
